The About a Chair 22 is a shell chair with a one-piece plastic shell and a four-legged wooden frame. The shell covers the seat and backrest in one continuous curve and is curved toward the sides and forward. The frame consists of four slightly tapered legs made of light wood, angled outward and bolted to the shell through curved connecting pieces.
The seat height is 46 cm, which matches the standard height for conference and dining tables. The overall height of 79 cm stays below the table edge of common meeting tables and allows the chair to be fully pushed under. The width of 59 cm and depth of 52 cm result in a compact footprint suited to dense seating arrangements.
The plastic shell is smooth and wipeable. The wooden frame appears stable and shows visible grain. The outward-angled legs widen the base and give the chair a secure footing. The shell is unupholstered and suited to uses where furniture is frequently moved or cleaned.
This chair suits seminars, meetings, briefings and catering areas. We deliver nationwide, on request with matching tables, setup and pickup.
