The ABOUT A STOOL combines a white seat shell made of smooth plastic with four legs of light natural wood set at an angle outward. The shell is contoured like a shallow dish and sits directly on the wooden frame without upholstery. Between the legs runs a triangular footrest of chrome-plated round tubing that provides support on all four sides.
The seat height is 76 cm and the overall height is 86 cm. This makes the stool suitable for cocktail tables 110 cm high and for bar counters. The shell measures approximately 50 cm in width and 46 cm in depth, enough room for extended sitting without feeling cramped. The legs taper toward the bottom and end in glides that protect the floor.
The combination of white shell and light wood looks understated and can be paired with different table shapes. The footrest relieves the legs and allows the seating position to be changed. The frame is stable, and the angled legs increase the footprint.
