The AIKO is an upholstered armchair with a shell-shaped seat and chrome-plated wire frame. The shell forms the seat, backrest and armrests in one continuous shape and is fully covered in orange fabric. The frame consists of four slim chrome-plated metal legs connected by crossbars for a stable construction. The legs end in glides.
The seat height of 46 cm matches the standard height for conference and meeting chairs and fits tables 72 to 76 cm high. The overall height of 69 cm stays below the tabletop edge, allowing the chair to be pushed fully under the table. The 66 cm width provides sufficient seating room without taking up excessive floor space.
The shell shape provides lateral support and allows the user to lean back. The chrome-plated frame is lightweight and can be moved without effort. The glides protect the floor and allow the chair to be slid without lifting it.
