The ALCOVE is a two-seat sofa with an unusual, cabin-like enclosed shape. Tall side walls slope inward and merge into a continuous roof that screens the seating area both acoustically and visually. The entire interior surface, including seat, backrest, side walls and roof, is upholstered in vivid red. The frame consists of slim chrome-plated metal tubes resting on four feet. On the outer right side, a small chrome-plated bracket is fitted as a shelf.
The enclosed design creates a retreat within open areas. Conversations stay more private, ambient noise is dampened, and those seated are shielded from view. This makes the sofa a suitable choice for trade show booths where confidential client conversations take place, for lounge areas at conferences, or for waiting areas where quiet is desired.
The vivid red color makes a clear accent and makes the piece an eye-catcher. The combination of upholstered comfort and a chrome-plated frame pairs function with a clear design statement. The compact footprint allows use where space is limited, without losing the screening effect.
