The Asti is a stacking chair with a writing tablet mounted on the side. The frame consists of chrome-plated steel tubing in a sled shape and is stabilized by cross braces. The seat and backrest are padded and covered in anthracite fabric. The black plastic writing tablet is attached to the right side of the chair and provides a surface for documents or a tablet.
The 45 cm seat height matches the standard height for conference chairs and suits common table heights. The overall height of 76 cm stays below the tabletop edge and allows the chair to be pushed under the table. At 45 cm wide and 50 cm deep, the chair takes up little floor space; the tablet extends sideways beyond the seat.
The sled frame allows several chairs to be stacked on top of each other. The fabric cover is less sensitive than faux leather and suits longer sittings. The chrome frame can be wiped clean and remains presentable with frequent use.
