The BABILA is a chair with an upholstered seat and backrest. Both elements have an organically rounded, slightly trapezoidal contour and are covered in gray fabric. The backrest stands free and is attached separately to the frame. The frame consists of four slim, tapered black metal legs connected by crossbars beneath the seat.
The dimensions are 47 cm width, 44 cm depth and 80 cm overall height. This makes the chair suitable for standard conference tables and allows sufficient legroom even with dense seating. The seat height is within the usual range for dining and seminar tables.
The fabric covering is less sensitive than leather and can be vacuumed or wiped down with a damp cloth as needed. The slim metal legs give the chair a light appearance and make handling easier during setup and teardown. The understated form fits into a variety of room concepts without drawing attention to itself.
