The BAIANO cantilever chair combines classic tubular steel construction with a clear design language. The chrome-plated frame runs forward into two runners, which extend slightly past the seat at the back. Seat and back are covered with white textile fabric set into a surrounding frame. The armrests are part of the continuous tube frame and end in horizontal grips.
With a seat height of 46 cm, the chair suits conference tables and desks. The overall height of 92 cm gives the backrest sufficient surface without making the chair look bulky. The footprint of 60 × 60 cm can be easily arranged in rows and along table edges.
The runner design springs back slightly when someone leans back, which reduces strain during longer sessions. The chrome-plated frame is smoothly finished and can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The white cover is a textile fabric that can be vacuumed if needed.
