The BENDER is a no-frills stool. The seat, legs and braces are made of metal, held together by visible welds. The vintage-style industrial lacquer gives the surface a shifting tone, and minor signs of wear are barely noticeable on this finish. This is an advantage when furniture is used by the public over several days.

The square seat measures 40 × 40 cm, and the seat height of 75.5 cm matches standard cocktail tables. A long finger slot sits in the middle of the seat. The stool can be lifted and moved with one hand, which saves noticeable time when setting up large rows. The encircling cross braces stabilize the frame and also serve as a footrest that can be reached equally well from every side.
