The BIARRITZ COSMOS is a stackable chair with a closed metal sled-base frame. The seat and backrest consist of several horizontal slats that run parallel to one another and leave narrow gaps between them. The backrest is tilted slightly backward. The frame is chrome-plated or white-painted.
The slat construction keeps the chair light and lets air and moisture through. Rainwater runs off, and wet seats dry quickly. The sled-base shape of the frame allows several chairs to be stacked on top of one another, which simplifies storage and transport.
The chair is suitable for indoor and outdoor events where many seats are needed and setup and teardown must be fast. The smooth surface can be wiped down with a damp cloth.
