The Catifa 46 is a chair with a one-piece plastic shell and chrome-plated sled base frame. The shell is white, smooth, and molded without upholstery. The frame consists of two parallel steel runners, each bent into a loop at the front and back. The construction uses no visible screws; the connection between shell and frame is flat and unobtrusive.
The seat height is 45 cm and the overall height is 80 cm. The width is 56 cm and the depth is 51 cm. This makes the chair suitable for conference tables, seminar tables, and desks. The backrest extends to approximately shoulder blade height and is tilted slightly backward.
The sled base frame allows several chairs to be stacked on top of one another. This saves space during transport and storage between events. The chrome-plated frame and smooth plastic surface can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
