This cough guard consists of a transparent acrylic glass pane in portrait orientation and a smaller pass-through pane in front of it. Both elements are mounted on a continuous black base, which provides secure footing on tables, counters or reception counters. The pass-through is located in the lower area and remains protected by the pane mounted in front of it.
The protective wall measures 90 cm in width and 90 cm in height. These dimensions are sufficient to separate the head and upper body areas of two people who sit or stand facing each other at a table or counter. The pass-through is at a height that can be reached comfortably from a seated or standing position.
The transparent design allows eye contact and communication, while the physical barrier holds back droplets and aerosols. The pass-through allows low-contact handover of documents, IDs, payment cards or small items. The freestanding setup makes wall mounting or drilling unnecessary. The cough guard is simply placed on the existing surface and is ready for use immediately.
