The DSR features a one-piece white plastic seat shell that connects seat and backrest in a flowing form. The chrome-plated wire frame consists of four legs angled outward, which extend from a central bracing structure. The open wire structure remains visible beneath the shell and defines the chair's appearance.
With a seat height of 43 cm, the chair fits standard tables 72 to 76 cm high. The seat depth of 55 cm provides ample seating surface, and the overall height of 83 cm lets the chair tuck under most tabletops. The width of 47 cm allows dense seating without crowding.
The plastic shell is smooth and can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The chrome-plated frame looks light and, despite the closed seat surface, gives the chair a transparent appearance. The black glides on the leg ends protect the floor and allow the chair to be moved quietly.
