The DSW Eames Plastic Chair combines an organically shaped plastic shell with a light maple wood frame. The shell is solid mustard yellow and sits on a black connecting plate. Four angled wooden legs extend from there, cross-braced with black metal struts, a construction that gives the chair its characteristic lightness.
The seat shell is shaped to support the back without requiring a separate backrest. The angle of the legs provides a stable footing, and the metal bracing holds the frame together without visible screws. The light wood and smooth plastic surface can be wiped down with a damp cloth.
The chair can be set up quickly and suits conference tables as well as catering areas. The wooden legs protect the floor, and the compact design allows several chairs to be placed closely side by side. The mustard yellow color adds an accent without being overpowering and can be combined with neutral table tops and other chair colors.
