This lounge armchair follows the construction of one of the best-known furniture designs of the 20th century: three curved shells of laminated wood with visible grain support upholstered seat, back and headrest elements. The upholstery is white or cream-colored, and the characteristic button tufting divides the upholstered surfaces. The base is a five-arm swivel base made of chrome-plated metal. The ottoman follows the same construction.
The armchair measures 84 cm in width and height, and the seat height is 38 cm. This allows relaxed reclining with an upright head position and at the same time provides enough floor clearance to place the armchair on a platform or rug. The ottoman extends the seating depth and can be placed freely in front of the armchair.
The swivel base makes the armchair usable freestanding, without wall placement or a fixed orientation. The curved wooden shells and the chrome-plated frame give the furniture a distinctive profile that remains recognizable from a distance. The light upholstery stands out against dark floors and blends into light rooms.
