The Foster 500 armchair is a cubic upholstered armchair with a continuous white cover. The armrests, backrest and seat form a closed unit, and the upholstery is taut and smooth. The frame consists of four slim metal legs with a rectangular cross-section, chrome-plated or polished. They visually lift the armchair and give it a light, urban look.
At 80 cm wide, the armchair seats one person. The seat height of 43 cm corresponds to a common lounge height and is lower than that of a conference chair. The overall height of 73 cm keeps the armchair below eye level when seated, so the space stays open. The cubic shape allows several armchairs to be arranged at right angles or facing each other without gaps.
The smooth cover can be wiped down with a damp cloth, and the metal frame is resistant to impact. The armchair stands stably on four points, does not tip over and does not need to be placed against a wall. It can be moved individually, but it weighs too much for frequent carrying; for changing setups, a trolley is useful.
The armchair is suitable for lounge areas at trade shows and meetings, reception areas in foyers, and waiting areas during presentations.
