The Hay HEE Dining Chair is a chair made of matte black round steel. The seat and backrest consist of horizontal metal rods spaced at even intervals. The sled base is bent from the same material and supports the structure without additional cross braces. The backrest is tilted slightly backward.
The seat height is 47 cm, which matches the standard height of dining tables and conference tables. The overall height of 79 cm gives the backrest enough surface area to support the back. With a width and depth of 47 cm, the chair remains compact and can be placed closely together.
The metal construction is durable and can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The sled base is stable and can be moved across the floor without tipping. The open construction made of round rods keeps the chair lightweight and stackable.
