The Jo T56 S is a cantilever chair with a continuous runner frame made of chrome-plated metal. The seat and backrest consist of a white, smooth plastic shell that is mounted without a frame into the base. The shell is attached to the frame at four points and forms one continuous surface from the seat to the top edge of the backrest. The frame runs as a closed loop from the front under the seat to the back and up again, the typical cantilever construction without rear legs.
The width is 50 cm, the overall height 85.5 cm, and the seat height 45 cm. The seat height is within the standard range for conference and event seating and matches tables 72 to 76 cm high. The shell is smooth and seamless, with no visible upholstery or covering. The chrome-plated frame gives the chair a clean, graphic line.
The chair is stackable. The runner shape allows several chairs to be nested and stored or transported in a space-saving way. Its low weight and smooth surface make it durable and quick to clean. For event operations, this means less effort during setup and teardown, short changeover times between different seating layouts, and simple care after the event.
