The LJ 1 is a shell chair with a fully upholstered seat shell. The shell covers seat and backrest in one piece and has an organic form that rises slightly toward the back. The cover is made of recycled PET in light gray with a subtly mottled surface. The frame consists of four slim black metal legs set at a slight outward angle.
The seat height of 45 cm matches the standard height for conference and event chairs and suits tables 72 to 76 cm high. The overall height of 79 cm stays below the eye level of seated people and keeps sightlines clear across several rows. The width of 63 cm provides adequate room without the chair becoming bulky.
The enveloping shell form provides lateral support and makes the chair a comfortable seating option for longer events. The textile cover of recycled PET is pleasant to the touch. The slim metal legs look light and can be arranged under tables to save space.
