This lounge sofa consists of two parts: a rectangular, fully upholstered seat section and a cylindrical backrest that rests loosely on top. Both elements are covered entirely in black. The surface is smooth and evenly upholstered. The backrest can be removed and placed in another position, so that a sofa with a backrest becomes an open bench or a seating island that can be used from both sides.
The modular construction makes the piece a flexible building block for lounge areas. Several seating islands can be placed side by side to form long benches, which can be positioned against walls or in the middle of a room. The backrest can be placed centrally, dividing the seat area into two zones. This creates a seating island usable from both sides, where guests sit facing each other or back to back.
The black upholstery is low-maintenance and can be wiped clean after the event. The form is reduced and has no visible seams or decorative elements, so the piece stays in the background and leaves room for staging through lighting or colored combinations. The event photos show the sofa combined with white modules and under colored lighting, which changes the overall effect without the furniture itself being colored.
This lounge seating island is suitable for reception areas at trade shows, waiting areas at conferences and lounges at evening events.
