The lum.40 is a free-standing portal structure made of black metal, from which three textile lampshades in different sizes hang. The frame consists of four corner posts with diagonal bracing in the upper area, which also form the suspension points for the lampshades. The shades are dark (black or anthracite), ribbed, and lined in white on the inside. They hang from ropes and can be adjusted in height.
The structure measures 310 x 330 cm at its footprint and reaches a height of 301 cm. It spans a seating group or lounge area and brings light to where it is needed, without ceiling mounting and without structural modifications. The three shades create different accents: two smaller ones at the sides and one larger one in the center.
Setup requires no tools. The structure stands freely and is tip-resistant, and the cabling runs inside the frame. This makes it suitable for trade show booths, reception areas, lounges, and catering areas where the ceiling is too high, too dark, or structurally unusable. After the event, it is disassembled and stored for the next use.
The lum.40 is ideal for trade show booths in Stuttgart, reception areas at corporate events, or lounges at evening events. We deliver nationwide – on request with matching seating, rugs, and side tables, setup and pickup.
