The MATRIX is a shell chair with an enclosing grid backrest in a strong red. The seat shell consists of a diagonal grid weave that wraps around the sitter at the sides and back. The seat itself is closed and slightly curved. The armrests are built into the grid structure and form one unit with it. The frame consists of four tapered wooden legs in black, angled outward, which give the chair a stable footing.
The overall height is 84 cm, the width 62 cm, and the depth 54 cm. The open construction keeps the weight low and makes the chair easier to transport. The smooth surface of the shell can be wiped down with a damp cloth.
The grid pattern gives the chair a light, transparent effect and lets light and sightlines pass through. The angled legs provide stability without taking up much floor space. The chair can be set up individually or arranged in rows.
