The MATRIX is a shell chair with an open lattice frame. The round seat shell is made of white plastic woven in a diamond pattern that lets light through. The armrest runs continuously around the shell. Four slim legs made of light oak support the structure. A round white seat cushion sits in the shell.
The overall height is 84 cm, the width 62 cm and the depth 54 cm. The open construction keeps the weight low and allows several chairs to be placed side by side without the row appearing heavy. The wooden legs provide stable footing on smooth floors.
The continuous armrest provides lateral support, and the seat cushion softens the hard shell. The open lattice construction allows air to circulate and prevents heat buildup during extended sitting. The chair sets up without tools and can be taken down again as needed.
