The Mezcal is an armchair made almost entirely of line. A round seat shell, tilted backward, is covered with white plastic cords that run outward in a radial pattern from a ring at the center. The surface is framed by a continuous round steel rod ring in the same color.
The frame underneath is deliberately slim: three metal legs splayed outward, joined by thin cross braces, with light plastic glides on the feet. With outer dimensions of 88 × 81 cm and a height of 73 cm, the armchair appears generous but remains visually almost transparent. Several units placed side by side do not block the view.
The cord covering lets light through and casts a distinctive shadow pattern. This makes the armchair a piece that works equally well in bright indoor rooms and outdoors, as long as the weather permits.
In use, it is found in lounge areas at summer parties, on rooftop terraces, in chill-out areas and at photo shoots. We deliver nationwide, and on request we provide matching side tables, setup and pickup.
