This plate rack is a mobile storage system for commercial kitchens and catering businesses. The central stainless steel column carries plate holders arranged offset on both sides, on which the plates lie horizontally. Red rubber locking rings hold the plates securely in place, and black pegs form the support surface. The open frame, made of welded square tubing, stands on four swivel casters.
The rack is 190 cm high and holds up to 84 plates. The height allows many plates to be stored in a small footprint without the rack tipping over or becoming hard to access. The offset arrangement of the holders on both sides provides weight balance and allows the rack to be loaded from either side.
The four swivel casters make the rack mobile during operation. Loaded plates can be wheeled from the dish area directly to the serving station without carrying each plate individually. This saves time and steps, especially at large events with several hundred guests. After the event, the rack rolls back to the dishwasher with the soiled plates.
This plate rack is ideal for banquets, buffets and catering with high plate turnover, such as corporate events, weddings or conferences. It is also suitable for preparing menus where many plates are plated and kept warm at the same time.
