The MONSUN is a chair made of metal that is painted throughout. The tall backrest has a vertical embossed pattern and ends in a curved top edge. The side struts of the backrest continue down to the floor and, together with the rear legs, form a continuous frame. The seat is flat and has small ventilation holes. There are no armrests; the construction is kept to the essentials.
The seat height is a standard 45 cm, and the overall height is 85 cm. The width is 45 cm and the depth is 52 cm. The chair therefore fits tables of standard height and can be placed close together without taking up much space. The splayed legs provide stability without crossbars in the way.
The chair is stackable. The metal frame withstands continuous use, and the painted surface can be wiped down with a damp cloth. For trade shows, meetings, catering areas, and outdoor presentations where many seats need to be set up and taken down quickly, this is a practical advantage.
