The New Avantgarde Lounge Armchair has a cubic, angular form. The seat, backrest and armrests are fully upholstered and form a single closed unit. The two wide side panels extend forward and serve as feet. The armchair does not stand on a separate frame but on the upholstered side surfaces themselves. The cover is smooth and white.
With a width, depth and height of 70 cm each, the armchair occupies a compact, square footprint. Because the side panels extend forward, the seat height is lower than that of a classic upholstered armchair, resulting in a relaxed, reclined seating position. The closed side surfaces provide lateral support and visually shield the sides.
The cubic form and closed construction make the armchair a standalone design element. Several armchairs can be arranged into seating groups without a visible connecting frame. The smooth, light surface can be wiped down with a damp cloth.
The armchair is suitable for lounge areas at trade shows, receptions and evening events, wherever a clear, modern design language is desired. In the photos it is combined with yellow seat cushions, which can be used as a color accent. We deliver nationwide, with matching side tables available on request, as well as setup and pickup.
