The placid.13 armchair features a closed, shell-shaped backrest that wraps around the seat on both sides. The covering is a velvet-like fabric in anthracite with a subtle sheen. The upholstery is continuous, and the seat and backrest flow into one another without a break. Four legs of dark wood, angled outward, support the armchair and give it a light, open appearance.
The 64 cm width accommodates one person, and the 72 cm depth provides adequate seat area. The overall height of 74 cm is within the typical range for lounge armchairs: low enough for relaxed seating, high enough for comfortable standing up. The backrest wraps around the seated person on both sides for support without feeling confining.
The armchair stands freely in the room and can be moved into position from any side. The angled legs provide stable footing and leave room underneath for cleaning. The velvet covering gives the armchair a soft feel and a calm, matte sheen.
