The placid.17 armchair combines a woven rattan seat shell with a slim metal frame. The shell is made of light natural rattan woven in horizontal strands and forms a curved seat with suggested armrests. The frame consists of four black metal legs connected by cross braces, which give the structure stability. A light seat cushion sits on the seat.
The dimensions are 57 cm in width, 60 cm in depth and 80 cm in height. The seat height is therefore within the usual range for lounge chairs. The compact footprint allows several armchairs to be placed side by side without the arrangement appearing crowded.
The open weave keeps the armchair light and easy to move. The metal frame is kept slim and contributes to the understated overall look. The seat cushion softens the hard rattan surface and can be replaced or removed as needed.
