This salamander grill is an electric table-top unit made of stainless steel with two grill racks arranged one above the other. The heating elements are located in the upper section of the cooking chamber and allow food to be broiled and gratinated from above. The racks can be adjusted in height, so the distance to the heat source can be matched to the food being prepared. The glass door on the front allows visual monitoring during operation.
With a width of 100 cm, a depth of 40 cm and a height of 40 cm, the unit fits standard work tables and catering counters. The 3 kW output at a 230-V connection allows rapid heating. Operation is controlled by a side-mounted rotary knob.
The salamander is suited to professional use at events where food must be broiled, browned or held warm immediately before serving. The stainless steel construction is durable and can be wiped clean after use. The two racks provide enough surface area for several portions at the same time.
