The SCHWAN is a swivel armchair with a distinctive, organically curved seat shell. The armrests are integrated into the shape and sweep forward, creating a continuous upholstered surface. The cover of gray heathered fabric wraps the entire shell. The base consists of a central metal column and a four-arm cross base, which gives the armchair a stable footing.
The dimensions of 74 cm width, 50 cm depth and 75 cm height make the armchair compact enough for lounge areas, reception zones and meeting corners. The seat height is within the usual range for lounge armchairs, so the armchair suits relaxed seating rather than working height at a desk. The swivel function allows turning to the side while seated without moving the armchair.
The metal frame with cross base provides stability and allows free rotation through 360 degrees. The upholstery is continuous and even, and the armrests offer lateral support. The gray fabric cover is understated and fits into a variety of room concepts without drawing attention to itself. The form is distinctive and remains present in the space.
The SCHWAN is suitable for lounge areas at trade shows and conferences, for reception areas at companies, and for meeting corners at meetings. It also fits waiting rooms, foyers and quiet zones at evening events. We deliver nationwide, with matching side tables, sofas and additional armchairs available on request, and setup and pickup included.
