This slotted skimmer is made of polished stainless steel and has a round head with parallel slots. Liquid drains through the slots while solid pieces stay in the spoon. The handle is long and cylindrical, with a loop at the end for hanging.
At 34 cm long, the skimmer reaches deep into pots and chafing dishes without bringing your hand too close to hot liquids. The distance between the handle and the food is large enough for safe handling, even with larger quantities.
The slotted skimmer is suitable for skimming foam from soups and stocks, lifting blanched vegetables, dumplings or eggs out of boiling water, and portioning side dishes at the buffet. The material is low-maintenance, dishwasher-safe, and holds up to frequent use.
