The SPUTNIK CLUB is a bar stool with a striking, asymmetrically shaped seat shell. The shell is finished in bold red and has a teardrop-shaped contour with a round opening in the center. The covering appears to be textile. The frame consists of three slim, chrome-plated metal legs that taper toward the bottom and meet in a round foot ring.
The overall height of 96 cm matches the typical seat height for bar stools and suits cocktail tables 110 cm high. The seat measures 48 × 47 cm. The foot ring, at approximately 25 to 30 cm above the floor, serves as a footrest and makes extended sitting more comfortable.
The three-leg frame stands stably and takes up little floor space. The chrome surface is smooth and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. The organic shape of the seat shell stands apart from rectangular or round standard stools and adds a design accent.
