The Strohboid Tent consists of a series of parallel wooden ribs that form a curved, tunnel-like roof. The ribs are covered with a stretched, light-colored textile membrane that provides protection from sun and light rain. Both ends of the structure remain open, so the tent forms a covered passage rather than an enclosed room. The wooden ribs are light and unobtrusive, and the membrane is natural beige.
Dimensions are not available. In the photos, the tent appears large enough to serve as a reception area, covered passage, or lounge pavilion. The width accommodates several people standing side by side, and the height allows people to stand upright and walk through. Exact dimensions and the load capacity of the structure will be provided on request.
The tent stands freely and does not require anchoring to a building. The curved form is self-supporting, and the ribs distribute the load evenly. Setup and teardown require trained personnel. The structure is not a folding tent but a temporary architectural installation. The open ends allow free passage and air circulation, and the membrane provides shade and shields the space from views from above.
The Strohboid Tent is ideal for garden receptions, summer festivals, and open-air events where a distinctive architectural element is desired. It is suitable as a covered entrance area, as a lounge pavilion, or as a connection between two event areas. We deliver nationwide and, on request, can supply matching furniture, lighting, and flooring. We handle setup and pickup.
