The VADA is a shell chair with a distinctive ribbed plastic shell in black. The shell has a curved clamshell form and shows concentric grooves that give the surface structure and stability. The backrest has a large oval opening, and armrests are molded into the sides. The frame consists of four slim, chrome-plated metal legs with glides.
The seat height of 43 cm matches the standard height for dining tables and conference tables. The overall height of 75 cm stays below the usual table edge, and the width of 64 cm leaves room for the armrests. The depth of 57 cm provides adequate seating area without taking up too much space.
The plastic shell is resistant to moisture and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. The chrome-plated frame is both lightweight and stable. The design allows stacking; several chairs can be stored and transported stacked to save space.
