The Versaille baroque chair features the classic medallion shape with an oval back and an upholstered seat. The frame is made of medium brown wood, the legs are turned and joined by cross braces. Decorative moldings sit at the transitions between the seat and the legs. The seat and backrest are covered in sand yellow fabric with a fine texture.
The 50 cm width corresponds to a standard dining chair and fits tables with a 60 cm depth. The 47 cm seat height falls within the usual range for table heights around 75 cm. The 95 cm overall height lets the chair show well in rows without the backrest getting lost.
The upholstery on the seat and back makes longer sitting more comfortable than with solid wood chairs. The cross braces between the legs provide stability for the frame. The turned legs and decorative moldings give the chair a formal appearance without looking overdone.
