The Xavier chair is made entirely of lacquered steel. The high backrest has three vertical embossed ribs and is slightly curved at the top. The square seat has perforations that drain moisture and make cleaning easier. Four legs with cross braces provide stable footing.
The seat height of 44 cm matches the standard height for dining tables and conference tables. The overall height of 84 cm stays below the usual tabletop edge and allows the chair to be tucked under the table. With a width and depth of 45 cm, the chair fits tables from 60 cm deep.
The chair is stackable, which saves space during storage and transport. The smooth lacquered surface can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The continuous metal frame holds up to frequent setup and teardown.
