The About a Lounge AAL sofa combines organic design language with continuous upholstery. The shell-shaped seat merges without a break into the backrest and armrests, forming a unified, softly padded surface. The gray fabric covering is even and has no visible seams. The frame consists of four legs of light solid wood, presumably oak, set at an outward angle that give the sofa a stable footing.
The seat accommodates two people and is deep enough to sit back and relax. The low backrest supports the back without blocking the view, and the side armrests provide support without feeling confining. The organic form appears inviting and adapts to different sitting positions.
The sofa can be used freestanding and does not need to be placed against a wall. The four wooden legs raise the seat off the floor and make cleaning underneath easier. The frame is permanently attached to the upholstered shell and cannot be disassembled. Sufficient space should be planned for transport and storage, as the sofa cannot be stacked due to its shell form.
This sofa is ideal for lounge areas at trade shows, reception zones at corporate events, or waiting areas at conferences in Munich or Nuremberg. It can be combined with matching armchairs from the same series to create connected seating groups. We deliver nationwide, with matching side tables, setup and pickup available on request.
