The ABOUT A STOOL combines an organically shaped plastic seat shell in matte gray with four slim light wood legs. The legs show visible grain and are set slightly outward. A triangular metal footrest connects the legs and gives the feet secure support. The seat shell is bowl-shaped and slightly raised at the back, with no upholstery and no backrest.
At an overall height of 86 cm, the stool suits cocktail tables that are 105 to 110 cm high. The seat measures 50 cm wide and 46 cm deep, which is sufficient for comfortable seating over several hours. The footrest sits at a height that allows the feet to rest comfortably.
The combination of wood, metal and plastic makes the stool durable in event use. The smooth surface of the seat shell can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The wood legs are stable and bear the weight without visible cross braces, as the footrest provides the bracing. The stool is freestanding and does not require wall mounting.
