The ABOUT A STOOL FABRIC combines an organically shaped seat shell with a four-legged wooden frame. The shell is upholstered in dark gray fabric, and its dished form offers comfortable seating without a backrest. The four slender legs, made of light wood with visible grain, stand slightly outward and give the stool a stable base. Halfway up, a footrest of chrome-plated metal connects the legs. It serves as a rest for the feet and also reinforces the construction.
The seat height of 76 cm suits cocktail tables and counters with a standard height of 100 to 110 cm. The overall height of 86 cm stays below most table edges and allows the stool to be pushed fully under. The footprint of 50 × 46 cm keeps the space requirement low. Several stools can be placed close together without seated guests getting in each other's way.
The wooden frame looks light and unobtrusive. The fabric cover dampens noise when sitting down and is more comfortable than plastic or bare metal. The footrest is positioned so that feet can rest comfortably without bending the legs. The stool is freestanding and requires no wall mounting, so it can be moved quickly when the room layout changes.
