The Asti is a stacking chair with a classic sled-base frame made of chrome-plated metal. The seat and backrest are anthracite and form a rectangular unit that tilts slightly backward. Metal brackets on the sides of the frame serve as row connectors.
The seat height of 45 cm matches the standard height for conference chairs and fits tables 72 to 76 cm high. The seat width of 44 cm and depth of 48 cm provide enough room for events lasting several hours. The overall height of 76 cm stays below the table edge and allows the chair to be fully tucked under.
The sled-base construction allows the chairs to be stacked in a space-saving way. The side row connectors make it possible to link several chairs into fixed rows, which prevents shifting at audience events and makes it easier to set up orderly seating rows. The chrome-plated frame is resistant and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
