The CATIFA is a stacking chair with a continuous seat shell made of white plastic. The shell is molded in one piece, and the seat and backrest flow into each other without interruption. The frame consists of four chrome-plated metal legs that taper slightly toward the bottom and end in gray plastic glides. The shell is attached to the frame through visible attachment points under the seat.
The overall height is 80 cm, the width 55 cm, and the depth 51 cm. The seat height is not separately recorded, but for a chair of this type it is typically between 45 and 47 cm, which is suitable for standard tables 72 to 76 cm high. The shell is unupholstered, with a smooth, wipeable surface.
The chair is stackable. Its slim profile and inward-angled legs allow several chairs to be stacked on top of each other to save space. This reduces storage requirements and speeds up setup and teardown at larger events. The chrome frame appears lightweight and at the same time stable, and the glides protect the floor and dampen noise when chairs are moved.
