This chafing dish with rolltop lid keeps hot food at temperature for hours. The domed lid of polished stainless steel rolls back and nearly disappears from view, so guests can serve themselves from the front without the lid getting in the way. The rectangular frame has two side handles with a wood-look finish that stay cool even during extended use.
The food pan holds 9.5 liters and has room for main dishes, side dishes, or sauces. Beneath the pan, an open area holds chafing fuel or another heat source. The heat rises evenly and keeps the food ready to serve without reheating.
The rolltop lid is the practical advantage of this model. It does not swing open but rolls back out of the way. This saves space on the buffet and prevents guests or staff from bumping into it. After use, the lid can be rolled forward again to protect the food from drafts and cooling. The stainless steel housing has a smooth finish and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth after the event.
