This shell chair combines the organic form of the 1950s with the warmth of maple wood. The sea-blue plastic shell has a smooth finish and no upholstery, which keeps it lightweight and easy to care for. Beneath the shell is a four-legged frame of light maple. Its legs angle outward and are joined by black metal struts in an X shape. This construction is a design classic and is known in countless variations.
The seat shell is shaped to support the back without requiring a separate backrest. The plastic surface can be wiped down with a damp cloth and is resistant to splashing water. This makes the chair equally suitable for catering, conferences and outdoor dining. The wooden legs stand on small glides that protect the floor and allow the chair to slide quietly.
The chair is light enough to move quickly and sturdy enough for continuous use. The combination of plastic, wood and metal gives it a calm, unobtrusive appearance that fits into many room concepts. It can be mixed with other shell colors or used in a single uniform color. Both options work.
This chair is ideal for seminars, meetings and receptions, for seating at a summer festival or for the seating at a product presentation. We deliver nationwide, and on request we can provide matching tables, setup and pickup.
