The DSW is a shell chair with an organically shaped seat made of anthracite plastic. The shell is molded in one piece, without armrests, and its curved form provides support for the back and seat. The frame consists of four angled black wooden legs, connected by a visible metal bracing. These struts converge in a star shape beneath the seat and recall the structure of the Eiffel Tower.
The overall height of 83 cm corresponds to a typical chair height for dining tables and conference tables. The width of 47 cm and depth of 55 cm provide ample seating space without taking up much room. This makes it suitable for tables with a standard height of around 75 cm, and it can also be set up in tight rows.
The construction of a plastic shell and wooden frame makes the chair easy to handle and transport. The smooth surface of the shell can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. The metal struts provide stability without requiring additional cross braces between the legs. The frame stands on four points, with no runners or glides.
This chair is suitable for conferences, seminars and meetings where a clean, understated look is desired. It is also suitable for dining tables at receptions or in break areas. We deliver nationwide, with matching tables, setup and pickup available on request.
