The DSW Eames Plastic Chair combines a color-through plastic shell with a base made of light maple wood. The shell is organically shaped, tilted slightly backward and provides a comfortable seat without upholstery. The four-legged wooden frame is set at an angle and braced by black metal struts in an X shape, a construction that combines stability with a light appearance.
The red shell is made of color-through plastic. The surface is smooth and wipeable. The maple wood shows a light, warm grain. The metal struts are black lacquered and create a graphic accent. The chair stands on four wooden legs that taper slightly toward the bottom.
