The Florence chair is a classic stackable chair with a chrome sled base and black seat shell. The seat and backrest are made of slightly curved plastic, and the frame is made of continuous chrome-plated round tube. The backrest is attached to the frame with two metal rods. Plastic glides at the bottom protect the floor.
The design allows several chairs to be stacked on top of each other. This saves space during storage and transport and makes the chair suitable for changing seating layouts. The sled-shaped base gives the chair stability without tipping risk and allows chairs to be placed in rows without the chair legs getting in the way.
The chrome frame and black shell create a clear contrast. The smooth surface of the shell can be wiped down with a damp cloth. Without upholstery, the chair remains lightweight and resistant to spills.
