The placid.14 armchair combines a round seat shell, open at the back, with a gold-colored metal frame. The shell is fully upholstered and covered in black velvet. The frame consists of two crossing runner bars that give the seat a stable base while still looking light.
The overall height is 84 cm, the width 72 cm, and the depth 53 cm. The shell seats one person and wraps the back at the sides. The open back allows the armchair to be placed freestanding in the room without a closed back panel getting in the way.
The gold-colored metal sled-base frame visually lifts the armchair off the floor. The runners distribute the weight across two contact surfaces and allow the armchair to be slid across smooth floors without lifting it. The black upholstery is resistant to everyday wear marks and can be vacuumed when needed.
