The WOOD is a chair with a continuously molded wood shell and a chrome-plated metal frame. The seat and backrest are formed from a single shell in light beech wood with visible grain. The backrest has a distinctive organic shape, rounding out at the top and narrowing at the middle. The four-leg frame is chrome-plated and kept slim.
The overall height of 87 cm corresponds to a chair with a standard seat height, suitable for tables 72 to 76 cm high. The width of 43 cm and depth of 44 cm make it compact. Several chairs can be placed closely together at seminar tables or banquet tables without looking cramped.
The smooth wood surface tolerates occasional wiping. The chrome-plated frame remains unobtrusive even with frequent repositioning. The continuous shell form without upholstery keeps the chair lightweight, an advantage during setup and teardown of larger seating arrangements.
