The CATIFA 53 UNI is a stackable chair with a one-piece black plastic seat shell and chrome-plated steel tubing frame. The shell is formed without armrests and joins seat and backrest in one continuous curve. The four-leg frame is made of slim round tubing that attaches beneath the shell and splays slightly outward toward the floor. Plastic glides are fitted to the leg ends.
The seat height of 46 cm suits standard tables measuring 72 to 76 cm in height. The overall height of 79 cm stays below the table edge, so the chairs can be fully tucked under the table. The width of 61 cm provides sufficient seating space without taking up much floor area.
The design allows several chairs to be stacked on top of one another. This saves storage space and speeds up setup and teardown at changing events. The smooth seat shell can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The chrome frame is durable and shows no visible wear from frequent moving.
