This shell chair combines an organically shaped plastic shell with a wooden frame. The seat shell is colored orange-red throughout and has a smooth finish. Four angled legs of light natural wood support the structure. Between the shell and the legs is a visible metal bracing made of black wire struts, which connects the components and gives the chair its characteristic lightness.
The overall height of 83 cm corresponds to a typical table height of 72 to 76 cm. The seat therefore sits in a range that leaves legroom at standard dining tables and conference tables. At 47 cm wide and 55 cm deep, the chair takes up little floor space and can be placed close together.
The smooth plastic surface can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The wooden legs stand on plastic glides that protect the floor. The open metal construction makes the design visible and keeps the weight low, which makes transport and rearranging during an event easier.
This chair is suitable for seminars, meetings and receptions where a clear design language and a striking color are desired.
